We are Joaquim and Luís and together we founded Douro Promenade®. We have a familiar and emotional connection to Alto Douro and we are witnesses of its people who plucked this ground “inch by inch to a nature as angry as the sea” and made it a terroir of superior quality wine. As connoisseurs of the Douro region, we want to share our passion with everyone who visits us and we want to convey the same emotion we feel when we travel through this ancient territory, full of identity and traditions, around a river full of stories.Specialized native guide

As advocates of a sustainable economy, we are promoting the development of local economies in a coordinated and integrated way, focusing on high quality tourism.
